DescriptionVery bird like fleet-footed dinosaur. Avimimus has a carteristic short skull and a toothless beak. The tail is relatively short for a dinosaur and the limbs are long. Avimimus probably had featheres in life, like its close cousin Caudipteryx, but it has not been found in sediments that could preserve such structures.
