Description

The Camptosaurus was a herbivorous dinosaur that lived during the Upper Jurassic. They could measure up to 7 meters long and were facultatively bipedal. Camptosaurus is related to the Iguanodon and Dryosaurus. There are other valid species of Camptosaurus species such as C. hoggi and C. prestwichii. C. hoggi is only known from England, with only a dentary and in situ teeth preserved. The skull was found in the Morrison formation of Colorado in the USA.
