DescriptionThe rhinoceros Coelodonta antiquitatis was large and thick-haired, it inhabited the cold steppes that covered much of Eurasia during the Pleistocene. It was a bit larger than the current African white rhinoceros. He was known by hundreds of fossil skeletons and other findings throughout its former range and is one of the best known species of the last Ice Age along with the mammoth.
This cast was found in Russia. It measures 74 cm in length and 106 cm tall.
