Description

Carnotaurus was a dinosaur predator, who lived in the Cretaceous period. Carnotaurus lived in Patagonia, Argentina and was discovered in 1985 by paleontologist Joseph F. Bonaparte, in the province of Chubut Argentina. Carnotaurus was a mid-size theropod, about 9 meters long, 3.5 meters high and weighed around 1,600 kg. The most distinctive characteristics of Carnotaurus are two thick horns over the eyes, they also bear extremely small forelimbs and stunted four fingers.
