Description

Deinonychus was a fast runner and very agile, being stronger and larger than Velociraptor. It could reach lengths between 2,5 and 3,5 metres and weighing 50 to 70kg. This dinosaur lived in open forests of Northern americas in the early Cretaceous period, between 119 and 97 million years ago. This skeleton cast replica is based on a specimen found in Bridger in the state of Montana, belongs to the formation Cloverly and measured 2.70 meters long.
