Description

Herrerasaurus ischigualastensis was a carnivorous dinosaur of the Triassic period that was discovered in 1960 in the Ischigualasto Valley, Argentina. This dinosaur measure up to 4m in length, 2m in height and weight reached 300 kilograms. The original skeleton of this primitive theropod is at the National University of Tucuman. This skeleton cast replica measures 2.75 meters long.
