Description

Seymouria was an interesting reptilian tetrapod from the Permian of Texas. It was very well adapted to life on earth and had many reptilian features, so that was initially thought to be a primitive reptile. The earliest fossils were discovered in Seymour, Baylor county in Texas. This skeleton cast was found in Wichita in the state of Texas in USA. It measures 81 x 58 cm.
