Description

Rare species of troodontid from Asia. This particular specimen shares many traits with birds, which is common among troodontids and other raptors. The skeleton itself is extremely detailed and molded from an actual fossil specimen. The vicious claws, teeth, and running legs typical of raptors are seen combined with the light bones, wing-like arms and furcula (wishbone) seen in birds. This in-matrix presentation of Sinovenator capture’s the animal’s sleek, dangerous physique in the natural rocky setting in which it would have been found. It is an excellent presentation piece.
